Ms. Garrigó acted as legal counsel to the purchaser in the first LBO in the DR for the acquisition by a mixed capital investment fund of the concession for the administration of 5 international airports. The transaction was featured in the IFLR as Deal of the Year in the DR. Likewise, she acted as local counsel to Barrick Gold in the US$1,2 billon financing, and most recently as legal counsel to Companhia de Bebidas Das Americas in the indirect acquisition of a majority interest in Cerveceria Nacional Domincana, the largest brewery in the country.
